Ministry of Consolation

MISSION STATEMENT

We invite you to join the Ministry of Consolation, also known as the Bereavement Ministry. This ministry is an opportunity to bring comfort, support, and compassion to those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. As a member of this ministry, you will work together with others in our parish community to help those who are hurting.
Here are some reasons why you might be excited to join this ministry:

Be a source of hope: When someone is grieving, they often feel alone and overwhelmed. As a member of the Bereavement Ministry, you can be a source of hope and comfort to those who are struggling. Your presence and support can make a difference in someone's life.
Build relationships: By joining this ministry, you have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with those who are grieving, as well as with your fellow ministers. This is a chance to form connections and create a community of support for those who are hurting.
Grow spiritually: Providing comfort and support to others can be a deeply spiritual experience. You may find that serving in this ministry helps you to deepen your own faith and connect with God in new ways.
Use your talents: We all have unique talents and abilities that can be used to serve others. Whether you are a good listener, have experience with grief and loss, or simply have a compassionate heart, your skills can be put to good use in this ministry.
