Resilience in the Wilderness:
Finding Strength in Times of Despair -
Not long ago, my dear niece received news that no one ever wants to hear—she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.
Our family was shaken, feeling the weight of this storm, searching for comfort and hope. My niece is very close to me, and watching her struggle with fear and despair has been incredibly hard.
Just yesterday, while waiting for her second session of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, my niece met another patient. This woman, already through four sessions of chemo and now facing radiotherapy, had lost all her hair, eyebrows, and even her eyelids.
Despite it all, they began to talk. The woman said, "Yes, it costs a lot, it's expensive, but thank God there is treatment available, and we are being treated." My niece nodded, acknowledging the financial strain, and said, "God provides us with the money we need for the treatment."
